The founder, Dr. Margaret Robertson, is a retired Navy Chaplain who went on to develop a successful business in mental health therapy called MAR Mental Health. She is also a former foster child who grew up “in the system” and now wants to give back to the communities that helped her grow so much.

In 2018, she and her sister started Ann Grace, and it has morphed into Ann Grace Hub. Both sisters love crafting and helping people. Since then, they have been accumulating supplies, crafting materials, helping others, and developing a plan to help even more people.

Ann Grace Hub Community Center was established in 2023 as a nonprofit 501(c) in Bremerton, WA. Our mission is to create a supportive and empowering community where underserved populations, including disabled veterans and foster families, can access therapeutic, educational, and creative programs. We aim to help individuals build a sense of purpose, community, and mental wellness by offering these services.

Dr. Meg Robertson

Founder
Counselor Chaplain | Advocate for Healing and Growth

I am a retired Navy Chaplain with 18 years of military service—10 years enlisted and 8 years as a commissioned chaplain. After retiring in 2008, I spent seven years as a mental health crisis worker and four years helping house homeless Veterans. Since 2020, I’ve been offering telehealth therapy, continuing my commitment to walk alongside people in their most vulnerable moments.

My expertise lies in crisis and trauma, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety. With a warm and approachable style, I aim to make it easy for people to open up and start understanding what’s going on in their lives. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I love research—and if I don’t know something, I’ll find out.

I hold two master’s degrees—one in Counseling (Marriage and Family Therapy) and another in Ministry—as well as a Doctor of Ministry from Regent University. I’ve also completed doctoral work in Counseling and Education at Capella University. I am licensed to practice counseling in both Oregon and Washington.

With experience in both ministry and secular mental health settings, I strive to meet people where they are, without judgment or pressure. My role is to walk with you—from where you are, to where you want to be.
